Senior Project manager forestry
What are we looking for?
We are continuing work on an ongoing project and are looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager to take ownership of the next phase. A separate project plan, scope, and budget will be defined for this stage to ensure clear structure, effective governance, and smooth execution. This assignment is suitable for freelancers and IT consulting partners with solid project management competence
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and track project progress, timeline, and budget with high accuracy
Ensure strict adherence to the defined scope
Identify and escalate scope deviations, initiating formal change requests when needed
Provide continuous support to the project team regarding scope and requirements
Maintain proactive and clear communication with the customer
Produce regular reports and status updates for stakeholders
Requirements:
Strong experience in IT project management
Proven capability in budget control and scope management
Ability to operate in recovery or finalization phases of projects
Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and customers
Fluency in Finnish & English
Preferred start: ASAP
